A visit to the veterinary hospital can be very stressful for the pet as well as the pet owner. Sometimes it is simply too difficult to bring your pet to the clinic. This is exactly why I make house calls. In fact, even when I ran a busy hospital in St. Louis, I took the time to make house calls to my clients who couldn’t come into the office for one reason or another.
I can perform many minor surgical procedures in your own home. Under (reversible) sedation, I can hand scale teeth (no extractions or advanced periodontal disease, please) and remove small cysts and tumors. I can also suture lacerations and bite wounds when necessary. Not only can this all be done in your home, but it can usually be done for less than what you’d pay for the same procedure at a full service veterinary hospital.
